Studio PADMA is honored to have produced the Grand Opening Animation for the National Wanpaku Sumo Tournament, held at the historic Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo.

To inspire young athletes on the national stage, we crafted a narrative that synchronizes emotional growth with three distinct animation aesthetics:

• Standard Style: The intense silence and concentration before the final match.

• Line Art Style: Visualizing memories of hard training and courage through raw, uncolored sketches.

• Dynamic Hybrid: A powerful fusion of energetic line work and vibrant colors, representing the protagonist’s “awakening.”
